Adeki Performance was founded by an Olympic silver medallist and a FTSE 250 director. Our aim is to help improve the performance of businesses by reducing the effects of unmanaged stress on their senior people. We change stress factors that are detrimental into positive habits that are supplemental.
We deploy biomarker technology to gauge the physiological indicators of stress and then use these measures as a foundation for rebuilding optimal performance. In the process, we increase the bandwidth, balance and baseline wellness of teams - which leads to improved emotional regulation and judgement.
We have worked with major organisations around the world with glowing feedback. We attribute this to a key tenet of Adeki’s approach: business performance rests on the performance of people . Tackling the root cause challenges to their stress, wellness and performance leads also to a business uplift... not just a tick in the box of employee well-being.
Why work with us?
Pre-COVID, SMTs were already under acute pressure from hyper-competitive markets, globalisation and increased regulation. Post-COVID everything went up several notches. In organisations around the world, people are under more stress – yet few companies or HR departments understand the science of stress: how it manifests, its long-term effects on performance or how to tackle it effectively.
Adeki has carved a niche using a scientific evidence base for the measurement and assessment of unmanaged stress—followed by expert coaching to address its root causes. We work with key individuals, teams and also special cases where business performance is at risk of disproportionate downsides if a key person is not performing to their true ability.
We often sit alongside other executive coaching activity and complement those activities providing a high return on investment in companies’ key assets – their people.
Areas of specialisation / key products
The transformation of performance through effective measurement and management of stress is our only product.
We are happy to work with teams of up to 15 people at a time or individuals who can benefit from a particular focus on the relationship of their stress to performance.Our coaches cover a diverse range of specialisations depending on your particular needs and personalities.
A typical engagement with a member of senior management involves:
1) A seven day ‘stress assessment’ using a mobile ECG unit (similar to a runner’s or cyclist’s heart rate strap) to highlight issues that may relate to work,
sleep, diet and balance.
2) A detailed report on the assessment
3) A focused review of the resulting data
4) Six monthly coaching sessions via the individual’s ‘channel of choice’ and timing, tuned to their needs. Includes regular ‘Check ins’ to build accountability
5) A re-measurement to gauge progress, performance, review next steps and commitments
For teams, the approach is similar but with a mix of group and 1:1 sessions
